Small scale plastic furniture of the 1950s
I've been trying for years to find these little pieces of furniture, which I remember having as a child--or at least I remember having the red dressing table. This was in South Africa in about 1950. I've just received these from a friend who had similar memories, and it was wonderful to have my memories confirmed. I'd love to hear from anyone who knows more about these.
The tricycle was another toy I remember having, but that was easier to track down. The two dolls were dressed in knitted clothes by me when I was about ten years old. They were mascots for my school "house." (The school was divided into "houses" which competed against one another. I was in Hunter House, and our colours were red and black.
