Miniatures from the past

--or maybe not.  The pictures here show miniatures that I've collected over the years, but that I don't know much about.  They are not for sale, but I'm hoping that someone can give me some information about them.

When dollhouse miniatures are found in museums, which isn't often, they seem to be treated as fillers, adding a little atmosphere to a nursery scene, perhaps, but not worth their own labels.  I'd like to learn more about the people who made and who played with these tiny things.
